The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.

At Cummersdale School, we aim to close the gap between pupil premium children and others in a variety of ways. Although this tends to be for relatively small numbers, this is reviewed annually by staff and the governing body. See the attachment for our pupil premium strategy.
